Model Passengers (and driver !)

Abbey Meadows School with David Kefford

14 May - 3 June

Artist, David Kefford worked with Year 3/4 children from Abbey Meadows School teaching them sculptural techniques using recycled junk to create a set of passengers and a driver for Taxi Gallery.

The children worked in small groups to create their figures. The passengers included; Cherry, a popstar, on her way back from a gig in Norway, Britney Spears who’s off on holiday, there’s also a baseball player called James, from America, who has just been watching Cambridge United play at home and Michael Owen in his match gear.

How "they" all found themselves in the same Taxi you’ll have to figure out for yourself!

This project was supported by a very generous donation of materials by FLEXOCARE
